Paris Dec 2009 - arrive with no sleep

Arrive in Paris on Eurostar around 915 am only 15 mins later than planned due to the Eurostar / Tunnel chaos of the week before

Worst checkin experience ive had to put up with at Eurostar St Pancras - but probably made worse by the lack of sleep the night before.

Got up at 3am as couldn’t be bothered lying in bed listening to BBC World Service anymore and had pretty much read ever RSS post / feed that I have on my mobile.

Paris … lovely apartment on 3rd floor about 1 min from the Seine / 2 mins to Notre Dame Cathedral in the Latin Quarter. Well chosen apartment - Ian has excellent taste!

later … after food / trying to sleep / Walked past Pantheon up to Catacombs but they closed at 4pm (we arrived there at 355pm), walked back via lovely, gloomy Monparnasse Cemetery.
