Sonar 2010 is over

The 17th Sonar music and media festival is over and now i’ve just got to collect some thoughts about what I enjoyed most. It’s easy to say that I’m looking forward to next years festival already.

There were so many good parts, in particular Roxy Music, Jonsi, 2020soundsystem and the whole section called Mary Anne Hobbs presents. The second night seemed a let down in that everyone went to see Chemical Brothers meaning other areas were pretty empty for those 2hrs. Sonar by day was just as good, though the sonar hall always seemed empty with nothing ever playing.
